BIO Born and raised on the beautiful North Shore of Long Island, NY, Jamie grew up in a household dominated by a love of all things artistic and creative. From a young age, she was involved in community and school theatrical productions.
As a junior in high school, Jamie won the “American Movie Classic“ nationwide talent search, for her brilliant and searing monologue performance.
She continued her training at Emerson College. During her summers she studied with Alec Baldwin at Southampton College, “Master Class in Acting.“ by invitation from Mr. Baldwin.
Upon graduation Jamie moved to Los Angeles and quickly garnered an international fan base when she was cast as “Rachel Blake“ in ABC's “The Lost Experience.“ Created by Damon Lidelof and Carleton Cuse, “The Lost Experience“ marked one of the most unique, multi-platform campaigns in television history. With Jamie starring as the face of “Lost“ all summer, she was described in “E-Online“ as divine and gorgeous. GQ magazine in their October 2006 issue suggested the number 1 thing to do before the new television season was to “Get to Know Rachel Blake.“
Since her groundbreaking role in “The Lost Experience,“ Jamie has continued to work with regularity in prime time television, national and international commercials, as well as, Internet based projects.
In 2008, Jamie was selected as one of Backstage West's five actors to follow throughout the year. Each month she wrote about her roles and auditions.
With her recurring role as Bonnie in “Without a Trace“ and appearances in “The Ghost Whisperer“ and “The Dollhouse“, Jamie continues to demonstrate her acting versatility. Additionally she has had the central role in national commercial campaigns for H & R Block, Life Savers and Pizza Hut. Internationally, she can be seen playing Bruce Willis' daughter in an Aviva Insurance commercial.
